He is a Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, with over seven years of industrial experience and five years in academia.

He began his career as an Application Developer at IBM before transitioning into the field of earthquake engineering.

During his Ph.D., he contributed to projects on seismic instrumentation, earthquake early warning systems (EEWS), and seismic site characterization using MASW. Notably, he played a key role in developing India's first deployed EEWS in Uttarakhand.

His research interests extend to Structural Health Monitoring, leveraging AI/ML for disaster mitigation and management, further enhancing resilience in infrastructure and safety systems
